I don't know if they are really seagulls. They look like dirt on the camera; we were moving fast enough on the bullet train to blur the passing birds even on a very fast shutter speed. The birds were moving the same direction we were.

I like the little farms nestled in among the mountains. The flatland to mountain transition around here always seems so abrupt.
