That's as may be, I didn't buy it in time so now I need to find a different cool jacket. Not a hard assignment in Sendai, though.
Also, I have a winter jacket that looks sea cadettish, it even has a qu'appelle badge from the real ship on the sleeve (no relation to the "boat" in Saskatchewan). Most of my clothes have an air cadettish tinge since I still think that way a bit. So, it is only fair to have something slightly army cadettish.
It is sad to hear the even the praire version of my old ship QU'APPELLE has passed. I enjoyed sailing on her, she was a good ship. My first trips outside North America were onboard her, including a trip to Japan.
Of all the ships to decomission, that sucks the most. Qu'appelle probably has the greatest name of any ship in the Canadian military, possibly of any military ever. I mean, really!

Yeah, I said it.
Army cadet.
...seriously, though. Good jacket.
Too late

*sniffle*
H.M.C.S. Qu'Appelle is no longer there. They got rid of the prairie sailing camp.
A sad day
It's a shame when even a boat in the middle of the prairies is decommissioned.
HMCS QU'APPELLE

At the very least the
At the very least the QU'APPELLE's Fox gave it the coolest crest!
It lives :)
I still have the crest on said jacket, it gets me a lot of compliments actually.
